The SMARTY Trend L-025 optical audio decoder is designed for integrating modern Android multimedia systems into Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with a factory fiber-optic audio system.
When retrofitting the vehicle with an aftermarket head unit, this unit converts the analog audio signal (RCA AUX) from the new head unit into a digital optical signal and transmits it directly to the original power amplifier. This allows you to fully retain the factory sound quality and the operation of the premium acoustics.
