KIA Sportage 4 (2016) installed Android head unit

We have installed the SMARTY Trend head unit in Kia Sportage. This head unit works in cars with different car trim levels. In our case, the device was installed into a car, with a factory:

- climate control regulation, 

- navigation system,

- rear parking sensors,

- rear-view camera.

The SMARTY Trend head unit is looking great in the car interior. The head unit looks like the factory one.

The factory functions of the car will be still working after our head unit installation. We have a resistive steering wheel buttons in our case, that means that they can be programmed to perform two more commands, in addition to the main ones (normal press, long press, double-click). The factory rear-view camera was connected without problems and continue to perform its functions. Dynamic parking lines are displayed on the screen of the head unit. Factory rear parking sensors are also functioning.

The buttons on the car panel under the head unit have retained their functionality and work as usual.

The climate control information is displaying on the head unit screen.

Thanks to the new multimedia system, you also will be able to install any navigation application for Android and will be always aware of the traffic situation on the road (traffic jams, the location of the gas stations, road repair points, etc.). Now you not tied to a certain navigation program, and can compare and choose what is best for you. After our head unit installation, the sound becomes better.
